Jeff and I like to go hiking when we are traveling. First off, Jeff is always looking for sticks that he can sand and make into walking sticks for someone.
It was a cool day, so it was perfect for a hike.
Bingo - Jeff found a dead Saguaro! But how is he going to get the sticks off from there. He didn't bring a saw.

I think the trail was about three miles round trip if I remember right.

And this was the parking lot on I-17 on our way home. There was an accident probably about 20 cars up that had then entire freeway at a standstill for about 30 minutes. We just prayed that everyone was alright and were thankful that we weren't involved.
