Fargo received a few more inches of snow than we did earlier this week. I'll have to try to get out and get some winter photos.

2012 024:366 Reason 957
One of my customers handed me a cookie as I was leaving her place about a year and a half ago. I ate this warm, just out of the oven cookie as I was driving down the highway. When I arrived at the next customer, (about 20 miles down the road), I had to call her back and ask her what was in that cookie. It was one of the best cookies that I had ever had. She told me that she just used a chocolate chip cookie recipe but used butterscotch and vanilla chips instead of chocolate. I have been thinking about these cookies ever since, and a year and a half later, I finally got around to making some. Mine weren't as good as I remeber hers being, but they are still yummy! I think I'll call them reason number 957 that I can't seem to lose any weight.
2012 023:366 Playdough
We had to pull out the playdough while Macy was here. Usually we will make new playdough, but this was still soft enough to play with. We had fun making different things to eat, and some flowers.
2012 021:366 Moose's Loose Tooth
Macy is visiting us for a few days and Grandpa has told her that he will give her a dollar every time that she reads Moose's Loose Tooth to him. So far she has earned SIX dollars!!
2012 019:366 For Sale
We don't need three vehicles, so one has to go and this is the one that we drive the least. It's a nice car, but just doesn't fit our needs right now. Anyone interested??
2012 018:366 Derek's Birthday
Derek's birthday was actually yesterday, but he had class last night so we had to wait all day to dig in to his birthday cake. Payton and I were good though. We waited until after supper to cut the cake.
2012 016:366 iPad
Technology. Kids are definitely learning younger and younger how to operate the technological toys. All of the grandkids can operate the iPad to watch movies and play games. Once in a while they will get stuck and I'll have to help, but not very often.
2012 014:366 Little bit of Snow
It's been a really mild winter here so far. We have only had a few inches of snow, and have had a lot of warm weather in between. I'm definitely not complaining, but there just hasn't been a whole lot of opportunity to get out and get some nice winter photos.

Jeff has been looking for a new (used) pickup for a long time, and finally found one that he was willing to deal on. It's a pretty nice ride!

I'm not going to lie, Jeff and I do everything completely opposite of each other. If I say white, Jeff will say black. If I say up, he says down. He gave me the job of keeping track of the finances this past year, since I am retired and should have time. Being the anal accounting person that I am, I kept track of EVERYTHING. I can tell you to the penny, how much money is in each account. Jeff calls the bank to check on the balance. Needless to say, I had way more information than he wanted at the end of the year and it was just too much for him to decipher. This year, I am going to do things differently. I purchased an accounting program and I'm hoping that it will give us each the information that we are looking for. We'll have to see how it ends up. Now if I could just figure out how to get Jeff and I on the same page at least once in a while, it would be nice.

2012 010:366 Sunset
Heading to Fargo today, and knew that I was going to be right in the middle of town when the sun got really low in the sky, so I pulled over to get a photo before I missed it entirely. You can see, that the clouds are dark. There is rain and snow predicted for this evening.

I was sitting in my chair watching the morning news when I looked out the window and saw this sky as the moon was setting. (Yes, I do get up before the sun every day!) I went outside in my pajamas, (hey, it was dark out), to snap a quick photo.

I made this necklace last spring when we were in Mesa, but it never laid quite right. I finally took it apart and redid the necklace, now it lies perfectly around my neck. The photo does not show how sparkly it really is though.

2012 001:366 New Year New Start
Yeah, I'm one of those people that will make a New Year's resolution. My goal for this year is to try and do more yoga and become a bit more flexible. Hopefully this will help me to be more comfortable when we are traveling and I have to sit for such long periods of time.
