Jeff planted a couple of geraniums in the yard this year. It will be nice to have a little bit of color out there.

2013.05.11 Graduate #2
We headed to Fargo this weekend to attend the graduation ceremonies for NDSU at the Fargodome. Brandy received her Master's of Education degree. It's been a lot of extra work for her, and I'm so happy that she is finally finished. We're so proud of her!!

Lilly and Macy. Even though there is only a few months difference in age between these two, Macy always feels like she is the little momma's helper and tries to help Lilly with everything.

We met up with one of Brandy's friends and Julie at Cherry Berry. We cannot go to Fargo and not go to Cherry Berry at least once. This is Brandy, Mary Ellen and Julie.

2013.05.08 Fruit
I've been totally uninspired this spring with my photography and end up taking photos of anything around the house. I need to get out of my photography funk.
2013.05.07 Buds
The trees are getting ready to bloom. We've been patiently waiting for spring to arrive.
2013.05.06 Squirrel
So far it has been pretty entertaining around here, watching Jeff go to battle with the squirrels. Jeff has been filling up the bird feeder then trying to put it as far out on the branch as he can so the squirrels can't get to it. The squirrels are very resourceful though and can even hang upside down on the smallest of branches. It's been fun to watch.
2013.05.05 Driving Range
I took the kids up to the driving range this morning so that we could all hit some balls. It's a little be nerve wracking trying to make sure that the kids don't get too close to the person swinging the club, but we made it through with no injuries. I love seeing the kids on the course.
2013.05.04 Graduate #1

2013.05.03 Future Pro
Derek and Payton have been spending a lot of time at The Bubble this past winter practicing their golf. Now they finally get a chance to get out on a real course and hit some balls around. P-man can really whack that thing.

2013.04.29 Gymnastics
It turned out that I had to take the kids all the way home today, so I spend a little bit of time in Cartwright. Macy is busy practicing her gymnastics again. This girl is always running, flipping or jumping.
2013.04.28 Awesome Travelers
We left Omaha this morning and have spend many hours in the car today. These two have been awesome travelers. It's been such a fun trip with them. They can definitely come with us again anytime.
2013.04.27 Arbor Day Farm
Abby had soccer practice in the morning, then we headed south to spend the afternoon at Arbor Day Farm near Nebraska City. We had a fantastic time and the kids were even able to climb trees and go repelling. It's a fun place and we will definitely go back when we are in Nebraska again.
2013.04.26 Three Little Monkeys
A trip to the zoo is always on the agenda when we go to Omaha. The Henry Doorly Zoo is one of the best zoos in the country. I still have not been able to see the entire zoo in one visit, and even though we tried today, we were not successful. I really wanted to get a photo of a giraffe today, but I was not able to, as the kids had their own agenda. At that point we were on the train, and they did not want to get off the train and walk. All is well though, as I'm sure that we'll be back and I'll be able to get my photos then.
2013.04.25 One Fell Off and Bumped Their Head
We picked Abby up from school today and we're going to spend the weekend hanging out. These kids always pick up right where they left off. There is never any awkwardness between them and they are always so happy to see each other. It makes my heart melt to spend time with them and for them to spend time together.
2013.04.24 Golfing at the Bubble
We made our first stop in Fargo to see Derek and Payton. Golfing at the Bubble was on the agenda for the evening. The kids had a great time, but Grandma was pretty uptight. Trying to keep three kids from swinging a golf club and hitting each other is a little bit nerve wracking. Everyone walked away unhurt, and that was a good thing.
2013.04.23 Vacation with Grandma and Papa's
Jeffrey and Macy are here. We are getting ready to head to Omaha this weekend to see Abby. Our first stop will be in Fargo to see Payton. I'm looking forward to spending time with the Grandkids. It will be a fun time!
2013.04.20 Watching a Show
Macy and Papa are relaxing and watching a show. Looks pretty comfy to me.
2013.04.18 Runoff
The snow is slowly melting. This is the runoff going into the pond. I guess from a flooding standpoint, a slow melt is a good thing.
2013.04.16 Squirrel
The squirrel is trying to find food in all that snow. It looks like he was successful.
2013.04.15 April Blizzard
This was the blizzard of the year. Look at all that snow. We ended up with about 17" the last that I heard. It completely shut down the entire state for a couple of days.

We are in a full out blizzard right now. This is a view of the neighbors' house across the street.
2013.04.11 Bridge at Pond
The water at the pond is still frozen and the Christmas wreath is still hanging. Still waiting for the ever elusive spring to arrive.

We are patiently waiting for spring to arrive. It seems to be very late this year.
2013.04.07 Gymnastics
Jeffrey and Macy had a gymnastics program in Sidney this afternoon. They were so excited to be performing for a crowd. Jeffrey performed on the floor mats and cubes and Macy's routine was on the bar. They each did an awesome job.
2013.04.05 Muddy Jeff
Jeff and Jeffrey took the go-cart out for a spin. Needless to say, it was very muddy. They got stuck and Jeff had to push them out.
