We were driving around this afternoon, then decided to try and get out of town for a while. This is actually just a few miles north of where we are living right now. I have a feeling that we will be spending quite a bit of time here.
I love the tilted rock layers here. Did you notice them?
Can you tell me where, more specifically, you are? Is there another name for this mountain? Perhaps Mt. McDowell? Is this part of the Camelbacks? Or are you in northern Arizona? I tried looking up the geology of the mountain, but I didn't have any specific enough informtion.
