237:365 Eating an Apple
I am absolutely amazed at what this kid will eat. He eats raw onions, then asks for more. He picks the onions off his plate to eat them first. This apple that he is eating is right off the tree and is very tart, but he ate the entire thing and enjoyed every bite. He loves to have a caramel roll for breakfast. I gave him half a caramel roll before we left for daycare and when he was done he literally licked the plate clean to make sure that he got every last crumb.

232:365 Sunflowers and Bees
It was a perfect morning to photograph sunflowers today. I went out the sunflower field after my walk this morning, so the sun was up nice and high and the temperatures were a little bit warmer. There was no wind and the bees they were a buzzing. It's hard to get a nice clear photo of a bee in mid flight, and here we have three of them. It's not crystal clear, but I think it's a great photo!!

230:365 Walking
I am still working towards my goal of walking four miles per day for this year. I am a little behind where I want to be for right now, but I'm hoping to get caught up soon. With all of the traveling that we've been doing this year, I don't feel too bad being behind right now, but I do have lots of miles to walk in the next few months.

226:365 Storm Clouds
These are the clouds from a storm that was heading down south. Tracy and I watched the clouds while we were out for our walk in the evening. I knew as the sun went down, they would start showing their awesome colors and I was not disappointed by that. I was disappointed that I was just a little bit too late with my camera to really capture the colors though, but I still managed to capture some of the colors.

224:365 6 Years Old
Guess who turned 6 years old today! We met Brandy's family up at Lewis & Clark State park to help celebrate his birthday. We bought him a new bike for his birthday. I tried to hide it in the camper until we had his birthday cake and opened presents later in the day, but his little sister saw it in there and told him right away. She's definitely not a secret keeper, but that's OK. He was pretty happy with the new bike.
223:365 Quentin & Joyce
I love this photo of Quentin and Joyce. They are just so cute. We met the cousins from the Spitzer side of the family in Medora last Thursday. There were a few there that I had never met, and some that we only see every few years. Quentin, Joyce, Jeff and I for an ice cream and a little shopping before it was time to meet everyone for supper. I love their smiles.

222:365 Garden Bounty
221:365 Monarch
I spent the afternoon in Bismarck today running errands. Jeff's cousins were all meeting for supper, so I decided to stay down instead of drive home then turn around and drive back. That gave me about an hour and a half to go for a walk along the river, and I took the camera with me. This butterfly was flitting around one of the flower gardens enjoying the afternoon as much as I was.

219:365 Indian Woman
This painting was painted by my grandmother, Eva (Eve) Anderson. It originally went to my sister, but is now in my possession. It was late at night, and I didn't want to use my flash, so the colors are not quite right. I am currently working on a project to put all of my grandma's painting in to a book, but it is slow going. I hoping to get a good part done by the end of September.

216:365 Detroit Lakes
215:365 Detroit Lakes
Brandy and Tyler started their vacation today. They asked us if we wanted to meet them in Detroit Lakes for the first day. Of course, we agreed. Julie and her two little ones, joined us along with Lora. Julie says that her two kids are kind of like my pseudo grandkids and I don't mind that a bit. Lilly is just as cute as can be and I ALWAYS enjoy spending time with them. Lefty and Lavonne and the three boys also spent the afternoon with us. We had a room right on the beach, so that was nice. It was a really pleasant afternoon. We managed to snag a photo of the whole gang, thanks to a tripod and a remote release shutter button. It's always so nice to spend time with family.
214:365 Digging
213:365 Running
I met this little munchkin in Minot today and she is going to be spending a couple of days here with us, before we head to Fargo to see her uncle and cousins. She is very excited to be here, but I think she is more excited to get to Fargo. You know how some people can't seem to think without sticking their tongue out? I think that she may end up being one of those people. The tongue just helps her move and think. =D
