2012 114:366 Cleaning the Pool

One of the things about going on vacation is that the work doesn't just go away. It waits for you until you return. The pool needed to be cleaned after being away for over a week. 

2012 113:366 Last Morning

It's a sad day today, as this is our last day on the island. We are heading back to Florida this afternoon. We have had a great time while we have been here, being able to spend time with each other as well as friends and family that have come to visit. What a great way to spend the winter.

We spent the day touring the Botanical Garden and the Whim Plantation. The Whim Plantation teaches a lot of the history of the island and the people. It was very interesting. 

2012 112:366 Supper on the Boardwalk

We spent many evenings on the Boardwalk in Christiansted. It was a great place to relax and have a meal while enjoying the sunset.

Mary, Ted, Jeff and I traveled to the west side of the island this evening to have our supper while enjoying the sunset. It was a perfect evening.

Jeff and I really enjoyed going out on the sunset sails. We enjoyed them by ourselves and with each of our guests. This time we were with Ted and Mary.

We went to Fredericksted this morning while the cruise ship was in and the vendors were out selling their goods. This was going to be the last of the cruise ships for the season.
