2012 035:366 Derek's Big Fish

The kids came home for the weekend so that we could go see the show Disney on Ice. Derek went fishing with Scotty on Friday night. He had a lot of pressure on him, because every time that Jeff goes fishing with Scotty, they come back skunked. Everyone is starting to claim that Jeff is the jynx. I told Derek that he couldn't let it be the Spitzer jynx, so he needed to catch some fish. Well, look what he came home with. The one on the left is about four pounds. That's a pretty decent walleye! So, it has been determined that it is Jeff that is the jynx, not all Spitzer's. Although, Brandy says that they usually don't catch fish when she is around either.

2012 034:366 P-Man and the Frost

Derek, Payton and I headed to Wilton this morning. We traveled in fog most of the way, so everything was really pretty and frosty. We stopped at a rest area along the highway and gave Payton a chance to get out of the carseat and stretch his legs. He found a branch that he could reach and shake off the frost and tried to catch it with his tongue.

This is the tree out in Derek's front yard. So far, it's been a well photographed tree.

2012 033:366 P-Man

Well, it's happened. P-man has joined the ranks of not wanting to have his picture taken. He has started to hide his face when I grab my camera. I had one chance to get this photo, then he starting covering his face with the hat. I'd say that it turned out pretty well for the few seconds that I had to capture this. Isn't he a handsome little guy? He has such a nice smile and I just love his laugh.

Day 002 Clouds

The theme for today was clouds, and wouldn't you know by the time that I got out, all the clouds were gone. This morning I was thinking that I would head to downtown Fargo and try to get some cloud reflections off of a big building, but that didn't work out. These were the only clouds that I could find, way off in the distance. It's still a pretty photo though.

2012 032:366 Tree Texture

P-man and I went for a walk down to the river this evening. I was on a quest looking for clouds for my other project, but it was a clear evening. I did find the texture of this tree interesting though.
