2012 014:366 Little bit of Snow

It's been a really mild winter here so far. We have only had a few inches of snow, and have had a lot of warm weather in between. I'm definitely not complaining, but there just hasn't been a whole lot of opportunity to get out and get some nice winter photos.

Jeff has been looking for a new (used) pickup for a long time, and finally found one that he was willing to deal on. It's a pretty nice ride!

2012 011:366 Quicken

I'm not going to lie, Jeff and I do everything completely opposite of each other. If I say white, Jeff will say black. If I say up, he says down. He gave me the job of keeping track of the finances this past year, since I am retired and should have time. Being the anal accounting person that I am, I kept track of EVERYTHING. I can tell you to the penny, how much money is in each account. Jeff calls the bank to check on the balance. Needless to say, I had way more information than he wanted at the end of the year and it was just too much for him to decipher. This year, I am going to do things differently. I purchased an accounting program and I'm hoping that it will give us each the information that we are looking for. We'll have to see how it ends up. Now if I could just figure out how to get Jeff and I on the same page at least once in a while, it would be nice.

2012 010:366 Sunset

Heading to Fargo today, and knew that I was going to be right in the middle of town when the sun got really low in the sky, so I pulled over to get a photo before I missed it entirely. You can see, that the clouds are dark. There is rain and snow predicted for this evening.

I was sitting in my chair watching the morning news when I looked out the window and saw this sky as the moon was setting. (Yes, I do get up before the sun every day!) I went outside in my pajamas, (hey, it was dark out), to snap a quick photo.

2012 008:365 Necklace and Earrings

I made this necklace last spring when we were in Mesa, but it never laid quite right. I finally took it apart and redid the necklace, now it lies perfectly around my neck. The photo does not show how sparkly it really is though.
