103:365 Shelby and JoDee

JoDee took Shelby and I out to luch today to celebrate Shelby's exactly six months until she turns 21 birthday. We went to My Big Fat Greek Restaurant. The food was very good, but the company was even better. Shelby showed us her apartment and the places where she hangs out around ASU. It was fun, we had a good time.

Brenda and Pam spent the night with us and were flying out early in the morning. I wanted to do something special while they were here so we drove up to Saguaro Lake to have nachos at the little restaurant only to find out that they are closed on Monday and Tuesday evenings. I had been looking forward to that for almost a week and I was bummed. It is so pretty up there. We still got to enjoy the scenery along the way as well as each others company.

We took a ride out to the sand dunes in California this afternoon. Just a short trip to get away for a bit. It looked like lots of fun. I think that next year we will probably try to rent a couple of ATV's and have a little fun one weekend.
